The City of Doniphan is located near the center of Ripley County on the East bank of the Current River. Ripley County is located in the Ozark Foothills region of 密苏里州 near the Arkansas border. The County is bordered by Butler County to the East, Carter County to the North and Oregon County to the West. To the South are the Arkansas counties of Randolph and Clay. Ripley Lake Recreation Area - A primitive fishing and picnic area. Small lake for canoe and trolling motor fishing. 禁止露营. From Doniphan take Hwy 160 west 8 miles to C Hwy, turn north on C for about a mile. Turn right onto gravel 森林 Road 3240 at the entrance sign. Follow this road about a mile to the lake.

T.L. 赖特纪念通道 - 2 boat ramps located on the lower Current River in downtown Doniphan at the
T.L. 莱特 纪念公园. Picnic tables, sand volleyball, basketball court and walking track are available.
From Hwy 160 take Jefferson Street to the park area and boat ramps - swimming is not permitted at the boat ramps.
